A beautiful story of one of the many families of Italian wine. That of the Baroncini family who, as you can read on the home page of their website, have been producing wine since 1489. The peculiarity of this family business, however, is that it is not linked to a single type of wine, but to a territory as a whole, Tuscany. Under the umbrella of Tenute Toscane - Grandi vini di pregio, in fact, over the years several estates have been added, scattered in the most interesting areas of the region. From San Gimignano, their homeland, with Podere Torre Terza, to Castelnuovo Berardenga, with Tenuta Casuccio Tarletti and its Chianti Classico wines that bear the historic Black Rooster label. From Montepulciano, where the 'noble' wines under the il Faggeto brand are produced, to Montalcino, where the Brunellos of Poggio Il Castellare are born. And finally from Magliano in Toscana, where the beautiful Fattoria Querciarossa is located, with vineyards that almost reach the sea, to the very origins of wine, in faraway Georgia.
