The Suvereto area has an exceptional microclimate, kissed by the sun and cooled by the sea breeze. The vineyards, which cover about 20 hectares, are planted on rich, clayey soils, ideal for producing grapes that express their full potential. The Gualdo del Re adventure began in 1980, thanks to Nico Rossi. He is the true guardian of tradition and innovation in the winery. His philosophy is simple but powerful: to make wines that reflect the territory. It is not a question of following trends, but of enhancing what nature offers, with the utmost respect and care. For this reason, Gualdo del Re is an organic winery, a choice that Nico made a long time ago, when it was not yet a widespread trend.
