Ascevi Luwa

San Floriano del Collio is one of those hidden corners of Friuli that give serenity to those lucky enough to know it. A magnificent natural landscape, where vineyards alternate with cherry trees and acacia woods. A borderland, Slovenia is only a few kilometres away as the crow flies. It was in this place that a young couple started their business in 1972. Mariano and Loredana planted their first vineyard, destined over the years to become the cornerstone of what is now a beautiful family business with around 30 hectares of vineyards in the Collio and Friuli Isonzo DOC zones. Today the two parents are joined by their children Walter and Luana. While modern winemaking practices are rigorous in the cellar, the quality of Ascevi Luwa wines comes from the countryside. Because that is where wine is born. And a good countryside makes a good wine.
