Areal - Quinta Do Pousada

Quinta da Pousada is located in the sub-region of Valle do Ave, in the heart of the Vinho Verde region of Portugal. We are on the western edge of Europe and thanks to its location near the Atlantic Ocean, this region enjoys an ideal microclimate, with mild temperatures throughout the year. The most important white grape variety is Alvarihno. With it, Loureiro, Arinto, Trajadura and Paderna. All indigenous to the Iberian Peninsula. The winery is owned by José Areal. 15 hectares in total, of which 6 hectares are under vine.
