Cantina Merano

Sometimes a few numbers are enough to understand everything. In the case of Cantina Merano, based in Marlengo, on the hills overlooking the city, the numbers are simple. Between 300 and 900 metres above sea level, the vineyards enjoy perfect exposure and the beneficial temperature range that every wine lover seeks like the Holy Grail. Over 1940 hours of sunshine per year are enjoyed by the vineyards here. There are 16 grape varieties in the vineyards, which produce 60% of the red wines (quality) and 40% of the white wines. Of these varieties, 3 are indigenous to the region and produce wines with an unmistakable character.
