The history of Château Pédesclaux begins at the beginning of the 19th century, when Pierre Pédesclaux acquired several vineyard plots. His wine obtained the classification of 5th Cru Classé in 1855. Located in the north of the Pauillac territory, today it has a 42-hectare vineyard rooted in gravelly soils.
