"Vittorio Moretti" Bellavista Franciacorta DOCG 2013

The name Vittorio Moretti on the label of this bottle is an important signal. The Vittorio Moretti Reserve is in fact a great cuvee, with the ambition to express a memory of the Franciacorta land and its perpetual renewal. A point of connection between memory and vision, past and future. Only the best selections are allowed to join this exclusive assemblage. Only the best fruit, from the oldest plants. Those that sink their roots for tens of metres into the ground of Franciacorta and are able to produce grapes of rare concentration. The base wines are fermented in small white oak barrels, before being assembled and sent for long maturation in the bottle, sealed on this occasion with the classic cork, in the style of the great Champagnes of the most prestigious maison. The colour of the wine is deep bright yellow, with a rich and creamy foam supported by a persistent perlage. On the nose, the bouquet is ample and capable of continuous transformation. From ripe yellow fruit to wildflower honey, from pastries to candied citrus fruits, up to crossing hints of smoke and laurel. All these sensations are found in the mouth, where, however, you also discover a highly concentrated, almost dense and creamy wine. The finish is very long and has a nice freshness, suggesting a very long future for this incredible sparkling wine.
