Vino De Marte Malbec is a red wine with beautiful character, a perfect representative of Argentina's iconic grape variety, cultivated in the historic Maipú region, one of Mendoza's oldest and most renowned wine-growing areas. A pure, 100% Malbec, after harvesting the grapes undergo cold pre-fermentation maceration, a process that best extracts the primary aromas from the skins and preserves the vibrancy of the colour. This is followed by alcoholic fermentation, during which periodic pumping over takes place to promote a balanced extraction of the tannins and keep the must in contact with the skins. The wine is then left to mature for about 6 months in stainless steel tanks, preserving the natural elegance and freshness of Malbec. An immediate and accessible wine, it is perfect to enjoy in youth. Soft and enveloping, it is easy to drink in the mouth, with an elegant and well-balanced texture. The tannins are sweet and round, offering a silky sensation that accompanies a pleasantly fruity and persistent finish. It goes well, of course, with red meat dishes. Excellent with steak or a good grilled hamburger. Finally, try it with pizza, especially four-cheese pizza.
